The Scotland Kilt Company, an established Edinburgh based
Scottish formal wear company are seeking to recruit a number of
customer service/retail supervisors on a permanent full time
basis as well as a number of dispatch/order fulfillment positions
over the Christmas and New Year period on a full time,
Candidates to both roles should be enthusiastic and target driven
with a keen eye for detail. A background in customer services,
retail or e-commerce would be ideal although not essential as
full training will be given. Candidates should be eager to learn and
quick to grasp various internet and computer packages so a strong
ability in IT is essential.
Seasonal dispatch/fulfillment candidates would be trained in how
to pick orders, correctly identify stock, properly pack orders and
maintain stock levels. As we anticipate a high volume of sales
through the Christmas period, candidates would be expected to learn
quickly and maintain accurate records. Applicants may also be
required to answer phone calls and e-mail enquiries so a good
telephone manner and effective literary ability is highly desirable.
A number of ongoing full time retail/sales supervisor positions
are also available. We welcome applications from those who have
fantastic customer service skills and a positive, proven track
record in retail and sales. Candidates would work in both our
central office and our retail outlet, working in a small team and
meeting our customers directly. As this position involves meeting
and greeting customers we would love to interview candidates
with great people skills and an ability to communicate effectively.
Experience in managing stock is highly desirable.
